Hi, I am Joanna. I’m glad that you are here.

My adventure with photography has lasted for over 20 years, and since 2006 I have been professionally involved in photography.

There is something extraordinary about portraying people – getting to know them, the thread of understanding, seeing them. I focus on individual personality traits, character, uniqueness of the portrayed person.

I create portraits that support my clients’ branding efforts. They use them in their professional work, in building their personal brand and developing their businesses.
I also photograph for people who want to stand in front of my lens for pleasure and memories.
I most often work in my Portrait Studio in downtown Katowice.

For the first years in my profession, I was a photojournalist connected with Silesian press, publishing, among others, in Gazeta Wyborcza. For years I realized primarily photo essays serving numerous conferences, events and meetings for companies and institutions from all over Poland.

I have also been involved in architecture and interior photography, most often photographing commercial buildings for developers and architects.

Since 2012, I have been a member of the Association of Polish Artists Photographers. Starting in 2002, I have been presenting photographs at group and solo exhibitions and participating in workshops. I received a scholarship from the Marshal of the Silesian Voivodeship in the field of culture for a project about post-war architecture in Silesia (2010).

I’m the author of the One People Story concept, the essence of which are portraits created using the classic method on black and white film.
At the same time, I am working on a series called Beautiful People. These are minimalist, black-and-white, studio portraits for which I am inspired by the diversity and uniqueness of people.
